                                                         To Whom It May Concern:

Having been working in Ladakh since 1995, both researching the various editions of my guidebook Trekking in Ladakh (Trailblazer Publications) and leading treks, I have found Footprints Adventure to be one of the best trekking companies in the region. Nawang Namgil’s attention to detail, interesting itineraries, understanding of the needs of foreign tourists, professionalism and above all, responsible attitude towards the culture and environment of Ladakh means I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Dear Namgil,
We hope you remember the older couple, which has been your clients 2 years ago. Markha valley in 1999 and Tsomoriri treck in 2000. We are still very satisfied and recommend you at every occasion.

Dear Footprints Team.

Thanks for your professionalized arrangements. Our Zansker Jeep tour with Namgyal and driver Tupstan was wonderful and a memorable one. We appreciate your great effort and the best services….!

Our group traveling in Ladakh and India consisted of a dozen seasoned travelers who have worked with travel agents in many countries all around
the world for more than twenty years. We all agreed that we were extremely fortunate to be able to get to know Ladakh with Namgil and Rigzen of
Footprints India. Our itinerary was outstanding, and could not have better met the desires and expectations we had for our trip.

Count Down Begins by Daniel Seymour
"The journey to Laddakh was long and hard but breathtaking at the same time. The diverse eco-systems ranging from snow-peaked moutain tops to high altitude deserts, while passing through the second highest pass in the world (17,500ft) provided another glimpse into the kaleidoscopic images and impressions of India. The eight day trek into the remote corner of the world was equally arduous but rewarding in many ways. For some of the students, the sheer immensity of the moutain ranges and the subsequent solitude that accompanied it was perhaps more than what some have bargained for in the beginning. Rigzin, our Laddakhi trekking guide who we met on the Ghats of Banaras, worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort and well-being."

As quoted by Leader of Where There Be Dragons(US based comppany).

We are a group of Buddhadharma practitioners traveling with our teacher, and Namgil's and Footprint India's connections enabled us to both meet Buddhist practitioners in Ladakh and practice at temples there. This was a deeply rewarding experience for us, and one we would have not been able to arrange without the skill, efforts and positive intentions of Namgil and Footprints
India.

I would like to thank the Footprint Organisation and certainly Mr. Namgial for the professional organisation of our trekking in Juin 2004. Honnestly I can not give any negative remark. Everything went smoothly, the horsemen, the guide and cook where all very nice and helpful. The food was very good and most of all it was as if the trekking was organised on our demands and Physical condition.
For me this journey helped me very much to forget my busy job, even when I was already a long time home.
Best regards,
Philippe

I have trekked with Footprints in Ladakh on some 10-12 occasions, and have walked all of the usual trails with them, with the exception of the Jumlam. Their staff are extremely competent and I can throughly recommend them. Their itineraries are realistic for a reasonably fit person and their horsemen know the routes well. Most importantly, they know when the trail is too dangerous and do not take unecessary risks. If a crisis does arise, they solve it. Whenever I have had one of their cooks on a trek, I have invariably eaten far too well - at the top of the Parang La - 5300 meters - a deep fried 'Snicker's bar is strangely attractive.
